Rubiks Race

Our team here at Lord Design collaborated with Spinmaster Games to enhance the functionality and gameplay of their beloved Rubiks Race game!
The game involves shifting and sliding tiles to be the first to match the 3x3 pattern.

The objective was to maintain the iconic Rubiks brand identity, reduce the set up time while also reducing production costs.
The final design not only achieved a clean and elegant form but greatly enhanced the overall game experience due to the clever unfolding method and minimal set up.

The design was developed from initial concept sketches all the way through to detailed CAD models for production.
